Singapore Airlines to raise fuel surcharges

The Civil Aviation Department today approved a 3% and 5% rise in passenger fuel surcharges levied for short-haul and long-haul flights by All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines.Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines will charge a $100 surcharge for short-haul flights, and $506 for long-haul flights in October. All Nippon Airways will have a $100 surcharge.

The department considers and approves surcharge applications in accordance with the bilateral Air Services Agreements.
